Pagani Huayra
The Pagani Huayra is a two seat beast of a machine that can reach a speed of 343kmh.
Its
super light body helps it with this. Its the only car in the world to
be made entirely out of Carbotanium which is a mixture of carbon fiber
and titanium. Drivers can enter its leather clad cockpit via spectacular
gullwing doors. This car can go so fast that it needs extra panels on
its body to stop it from flipping on to its side. I don't think you want
that happening considering that it costs NZ$1,400,000 and the repairs
often cost more. The Huayra gets its name from the South American god of
winds. This is linked to Horacio Pagani's (Pagani CEO) Argentinean
heritage.
My view:
The Huayra is one of those cars that takes years of planning and when its here, it was worth the effort.
Interesting fact:
Even through Horacio Pagani is from
South America, the company is based in Italy.
